Summary

Microsoft’s April 2016 security updates have passed Citrix testing (the updates are listed below). The testing is not all-inclusive; all tests are executed against English only environments and issues may still be found upon implementation. Follow best practices for testing and installing software updates/patches in a development environment before implementing the updates in a production environment.

Where applicable, the updates were tested on Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Server 2008 R2, Server 2012 and Server 2012 R2 platforms, with Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop and other Citrix products.

Known Issues

  1. Our tests have indicated Cumulative Security Update’s for Windows 10 RTM (Current Business Branch and LTSB) and Windows 10 Version 1511 released January 2016 onwards (including KB3148532 released in April 2016) are incompatible with Citrix VDA v7.6.300 and VDA v7.7. A Citrix solution has been made available. Refer to CTX205398 for more details.
