Instructions to Apply the Patch

You can use this procedure to upgrade your existing App Controller deployment, install new application connectors, and install any updates, such as upgrades or patches, that become available for App Controller.

Note: Make sure to take a snapshot of App Controller configuration before you install the patch.

To download the software for App Controller

1. Go to the??Citrix web site.

2. Click??My Account??and log on.

3. Click??Downloads.

4. Under??Find Downloads, select??XenMobile.

5. In??Select Download Type, select??Product Software??and then click??Find.

6. On the XenMobile Product Software page, click??XenMobile App Edition.

7. On the??XenMobile App Edition??page, click the appropriate App Controller virtual image in order to install App Controller on XenServer, VMware, or Hyper-V.

8. Follow the instructions on your screen to download the software.

When the software download to your computer is complete, you can install the software by using the App Controller management console.

To install the App Controller software

1. In the App Controller management console, click??Settings.

2. Under??System Configuration, click??Release Management.

3. Click??Upgrade.

4. In the??Upgrade??dialog box, click??Browse??and then navigate to the installation package on your computer.

5. Click??Open??and then click??Upload.

   The file uploads to App Controller.

6. If prompted, restart App Controller.

   In this case, a message indicates that the update installation is successful.
